今年首例本土登革熱出現在高雄！疾管署今（27）日晚間公布今年首例本土登革熱確定病例，為高雄市楠梓區大昌里56歲女性，同住家人亦有2人有疑似症狀，還需經二次採檢確認。值得注意的是，女子確診為第三型登革熱，該型曾在99年在高雄當地有過一波流行。
該名女子有慢性病史，陸續出現發燒、肌肉痠痛、頭痛、關節痛、後眼窩痛、噁心、畏寒、紅疹、腹瀉等症狀，於7月24日、25日曾二度就醫，26日由醫院通報登革熱，今日確診。
疾管署副署長莊人祥表示，女子同住家人也有疑似症狀，但2人還需經二次採檢確認，目前女子意識清楚住院治療中，有疑似症狀的家人亦進行防蚊隔離、住院治療當中。
好康推薦疾管署統計，今年迄今累計1例登革熱本土病例；另有148例境外移入病例，感染國家以越南、馬來西亞等東南亞國家最多，境外移入病例數是近6年同期次高。
莊人祥強調，去年首例本土登革熱是發生在屏東縣、6月24日，今年疫情明顯來得晚，由於第三型已隔較長時間未見主要流行，疾管署與地方衛生局不敢掉以輕心，會加強防蚊、防疫措施，全台氣溫持續高溫，且周末將有颱風影響易有豪大雨，提醒民眾應加緊腳步整頓環境、清除孳生源。
台北世大運倒數8天，總統蔡英文10日特別前往高雄國家運動訓練中心，主持「2017年第29屆台北世界大學運動會授旗典禮」。蔡英文希望，這次台灣歷史上最盛大體育賽事中，希望選手能把獎牌留在主場、把榮耀留在台灣。
世大運將在19日登場，蔡英文特地前往高雄為選手授旗，她表示，這場體育盛會，預計將有超過140個國家、1萬名以上的選手來到台灣，是台灣歷史上舉辦過最盛大的體育賽事。
另外，本次台灣代表隊共有371位選手，參與22種競賽項目，總代表團人數更超過500人，這也是自1987年我國參加世大運以來，人數最多的一次。
蔡英文表示，世大運是很多優秀選手生涯的重要戰場，例如舉重項目裡，「世界最強」的許淑淨選手，就是在2011年世大運拿下銀牌之後，一路過關斬將，拿下奧運金牌。這一次許淑淨也是世大運選手，我們期待所有選手都跟她一樣，拿出最好的表現。
蔡英文也強調，世大運在台灣舉辦，台灣就是主場，她請全體代表團全力以赴，持續保持最好的狀態，用百分之百的實力，捍衛主場，「把獎牌留在主場，把榮耀留在台灣。」
